US Customs brokers seize medication, nab suspects in Caribbean Sea
The US Customs and Border Safety (CBP) company says legislation enforcement companies have intercepted a vessel within the Caribbean Sea transporting 3,051 kilos of cocaine, arresting three non-citizens from Venezuela.
CBP mentioned the arrests and seizures happened close to Palmas de Mar, off Puerto Rico’s japanese coast, and that the estimated worth of the contraband is roughly US$32 million.
It mentioned the authorities had positioned a “lights-out vessel traversing at excessive velocity” and with help from a US Coast Guard plane, positioned the vessel 10 miles off the coast of Humacao, Puerto Rico.

“Brokers intercepted a ‘yola’ sort vessel close to the Palmas del Mar resort. On board, (brokers) arrested three males who claimed to be Venezuelan nationals and seized 40 bales of suspected contraband,” the GBP mentioned.
It added that on March 30, brokers intercepted a vessel close to Mona Island, off Puerto Rico, with six bales of cocaine and arrested two males from the Dominican Republic.
