Trinidad and Tobago has launched an exhibition paying tribute to the life and profession of the world’s undisputed Calypso Monarch, the Grenada-born Dr. Slinger Francisco, popularly often called the Mighty Sparrow
The Ministry of Tourism, Tradition and the Arts mentioned the “Treasures from the Hideaway: Mighty Sparrow Memorabilia’ Exhibition” will likely be on show on the departure lounge of the Piarco Worldwide Airport. By means of an array of pictures, memorabilia, paperwork and recordings, patrons will likely be taken on a journey of Sparrow’s “indelible contributions to native, regional and worldwide music scenes.”
