Tom Brady Says He Missed Training Camp Because He Went Through A Lot Of ‘S**t’ – newsdubai

Tom Brady just can’t take a day off without people writing a book about it—well, unless it’s missing the first two weeks of training camp—so he addresses it again, basically saying he’s been through a lot of s **t.

Appearing Saturday for the preseason debut in the exhibition finale, Brady said after the game, “Everybody has different situations that they face and we all have unique challenges in our lives.”

Then he said this… “I’m 45 years old, man. There’s a lot of crap going on, so you just try to figure life out the best you can. You know, it’s a continuous process.”

Brady, performing on a Brady level, kind of stated the obvious after the game … “I feel good. I’ve been playing football a long time. I’m pretty good at it,” Brady said. “It won’t take me long to remember how to play it.”

Brady didn’t get specific about the 11-day absence — remember, he originally said he was self-benching for “personal reasons.”

The Bucs played 2 preseason games while Brady was out … losing to Miami on August 13th and to the Titans on August 20th.

There have been massive rumors that he was MIA so he could appear on “The Masked Singer,” but Brady flatly denied it. But here’s the thing…when he retired in that nanosecond, he signed a massive, $375 million deal with Foxand it’s not inconceivable that part of the deal could have been to appear on Fox shows, the biggest of which is ‘Masked Singer’.

So the theory goes … when he unretiredhe went back to the Bucs and said he had signed the deal so part of the conditions to come back would be the 11-day layoff.

Now it sure sounds like Brady stepped down for something else … maybe more serious.
