Pooping is an indispensable part of life, and it’s your body’s simple way of dumping (see what I did there) waste. This is why your potty can give you a hint about what’s going on in your stomach. The shape, color or texture of your faeces can explain dehydration, dietary deficiencies or sickness. Your bowels are composed of 3/4th water, and the remaining is a smelly aggregate of dead and live bacteria, fibre, unprocessed food, mucus, and cells. You often hear the idiom, “Your shit stinks.” Well, this isn’t a regretful thing. It implies that your digestive system has lots of bacteria that are assisting in conventional digestion. So if your poop doesn’t smell like flowers, cookies, or an aromatherapy session, your body is performing its work correctly.

Form

Some individuals flush and go without taking the liberty to peep at their poop. It’s not a hot topic of discussion, but the form can show if we are wholesome or not. If your poop is solid, in parts, and you have to strive to push it, then you are probably constipated.
An excellent tubular shape is good, and it should come out quickly. If your stool is thin, then you can add fibrous fruits to help shape it up. If you are on the confronting end of the spectrum and it is too thick, you may need some seeds and nuts, or pears to free up your bowels and improve digestion.

Frequency

If someone told you that it was reasonable to poop a few times a week, that person was misleading you. Going more than 2-3 days without discharging the tank can be a symptom of constipation. It’s natural to release your bowels once a day. Some people poop 1-3 times a day, which is still reasonable. However, if you poop more than four times a day, you have entered the dark world of diarrhea, which is something you must address.

Color

If you’re the kind that looks at your stool, you may see that it can vary in color. The fitting color is dark or medium brown. Black poop can mean that there is bleeding in the stomach. It could also indicate an ulcer in the stomach. Here’s a golden rule: visit your doctor if you see blood in your toilet. Let it be known that a small quantity of blood may be caused by straining too hard, creating a small tear around the anus.

Poop can be green for two reasons: Your diet may consist of lots of green leafy vegetables, or food may be moving too quickly through your digestive system. Bile can have a green tint, and if it is in your poop, then the body didn’t have time to digest it correctly. Your poop can also appear grayish if you are on some medications. It can also be vivid in color, which may imply a liver problem. If the liver isn’t generating enough bile, then your body isn’t correctly detoxifying. To solve this, you can incorporate dandelions and beets into your diet to help detox the liver.
