Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is on sale now, a few days earlier than expected

Bring on top Frozen 2 Disney makes three months early at Disney Plus Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker available to buy a few days earlier.

The Rise of Skywalker is available today through digital retailers such as iTunes and Amazon; it was originally planned released on Tuesday, March 17. The Rise of Skywalker will not be streamed on Disney Plus today or Tuesday. A Lucasfilm representative said The edge there is currently no update on a Disney Plus streaming date.

Like Frozen 2, Release Disney The Rise of Skywalker earlier than expected is a smart business move for the company. More people are spending time at home because of the spread of the new coronavirus, including children, teens, and adults. By letting people watch different titles while trying to fill the time, Disney can secure additional digital purchases and Disney Plus subscribers in between. Disney has delayed the theatrical releases of three of its films – Mulan, New Mutants, and Antlers. None of the films have new release dates at this time.

The real question now is whether The Rise of Skywalker is worth people’s time and money. Our critic said, “There is plenty of spectacle and space battles to hold The Rise of Skywalker entertaining, ‘adding that’ it’s a fun minute by minute ‘and’ on the brightest points it is Star Wars at best. “But it’s not perfect.

“Abrams just hasn’t toned down the bombast enough to keep his story grounded – and with the trilogy at the end of it, it’s strange to have as many new questions as resolutions.”

But when you’re at home looking for time to kill, Star Wars is never a bad idea. The other Star Wars movies are being streamed on Disney Plus.
