St. Lucia Police arrest Senate president Stanley Felix

The President of St. Lucia Senate, Stanley Felix “was taken into custody” by members of the safety forces on Thursday. Prime Minister Phillip J. Pierre says he’ll make a ‘assertion on the applicable time.”

A short authorities assertion stated Pierre had realized of the state of affairs relating to Felix who had been “taken into custody to help with an ongoing police investigation.

“The Hon. Prime Minister is awaiting additional data on the problem and can make an announcement on the applicable time,” the assertion stated.

The police haven’t issued any assertion on the arrest, however media experiences stated Felix is scheduled to look in a Justice of the Peace court docket on Friday.
