Hollywood’s biggest stars stand in solidarity to protect abortion rights.
On May 13, Planned Parenthood published a full-page ad in New York Times with signatures from 160 artists – incl Miley cyrus, Selena gomez, Megan Thee stallion, Shawn Mendes, Olivia Rodrigo, Hailey Bieber, Demi Lovato– promising their support for the #BansOffOurBodies campaign.
“The Supreme Court is planning to overthrow Roe v. Wadeto remove the constitutional right to abortion, “the letter states.” Our power to plan our own future and control our own bodies depends on our ability to access sexual and reproductive health care, including abortion. “
Other signatories of the campaign include Noah Cyrus, Kendall Jenner, Tinashe, Storm Reid, Camila Cable, Lili Reinhart, Meghan Trainor, Billie Eilish, Halsey, Madelyn Cline and Paramore.
“We are artists. Creators. Narrators,” the letter continues. “We are the new generation entering our power. Now we are being deprived of our power. WE DO NOT WANT TO BACK – AND WE DO NOT WANT TO BACK.”
