Love And Thunder Home Release Details Announced – newsdubai
If you were a fan of Thor: Love and Thunder, good news! The film will hit digital release on September 8th, as well as Disney+ with 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD coming on September 27th. The home release will have all-new bonus features, including deleted scenes, a gag reel, and audio commentary provided by director Taika Waititi.
Thor: Love and Thunder was the 29th film in the long-running Marvel Cinematic Universe, and while it received some praise for its light-hearted nature and acclaimed performances from Bale, Portman, and Hemsworth, it received some criticism for its tonal inconsistency, and you can read GameSpot’s review of Thor: Love and Thunder here.
Despite not grossing as much as Thor: Ragnorak, it eventually grossed $738 million worldwide, becoming the sixth highest-grossing film of 2022.

Thor: Love and Thunder focuses on Thor and his journey of self-discovery and his purpose outside of the Avengers. He is thwarted by a galactic and mysterious killer known as Gorr the God Butcher seeking to exterminate the gods. Thor gets help from King Valkyrie, rock soldier Korg (Taika Waititi) and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster, who has now taken up the mantle of the Mighty Thor.
It’s interesting to note that in the deleted scenes listed, there’s one about Thor, Valkyrie, and Korg running into a few characters while seeking an audience with Zeus. This could be where actress Lena Headey had her scenes cut.
