Jamaican Policeman killed whereas making an attempt to quell battle

Police in Jamaica have launched an investigation into the killing of certainly one of their colleagues who tried to finish a battle in St. Catherine on Saturday.

In accordance with police stories, Detective Sergeant Victor Francis, 65, who was assigned to the Centre for the Investigations of Sexual Offences and Youngster Abuse headquarters noticed two males in a bodily confrontation and tried to intervene when he was stabbed.

One of many males ran behind the policeman and used him as a protect, whereas the alleged knife-wielding attacker continued stabbing, injuring the cop.

The Police Excessive Command has expressed condolences to his household, mates, and colleagues.
