Jamaican charged in connection to multimillion-dollar retailer theft


The Jamaican police have charged a person with store breaking and larceny in connection to a theft of clothes and different gadgets from a retailer in Portland. The products had been value greater than J$8.2 million.

Sashane Kennedy, 26, also referred to as ‘Hundred’ or ‘Six’, was charged on Tuesday. He’s a building employee from Corridor’s Avenue in Portland.

His court docket date is to be finalized.

Police studies are that the shop proprietor obtained a cellphone name at about 9:30 a.m. on Monday, December 5, notifying her that her retailer on Williams Road had been damaged into.

When she went to the shop, she realized that clothes and sneakers had been stolen.

The police traced the stolen items to Kennedy, who was arrested after a number of of the gadgets had been present in his possession.
