Jamaica hosts Caribbean Nations Safety Convention

JIS Information-  Cupboard has authorised Jamaica co-hosting the Caribbean Nations Safety Convention 2023.

The convention can be held in Montego Bay, St James from June 5 to 19, 2023.

This was disclosed by the Minister with accountability for Data Robert Morgan throughout Wednesday’s post-Cupboard press briefing at Jamaica Home in St Andrew.

The convention can be held underneath the theme ‘Strengthening Regional Safety By way of Knowledgeable Motion’ and is geared toward enhancing regional partnerships and enhancing safety within the Caribbean Basin.

In the meantime Cupboard thought of the advice for the award of a contract by the Planning Institute of Jamaica for the event and execution of a two-pronged communication plan that targets the primary viewers impacted by enterprise reforms and the broader public.

Morgan stated after consideration, Cupboard granted approval of the award of a $132-million contract to Engine Room Restricted.

Moreover, he stated Cupboard gave approval for the internet hosting of the twenty sixth assembly of the Caribbean Neighborhood (Caricom) Standing Committees of Chiefs of Immigration and Comptrollers of Customs on the Montego Bay Convention Centre in St James, in the course of the interval Might 16 to 18, 2023.
