“The dust turns into the worm. The worm turns into the person. And the person turns into dust.” And worms turn into God! Two strangers decide to consuming (and making) addictive, hallucinogenic worms that lead them on a psychotic bender filled with homicide and perversity via Chicago’s again streets. Fantasia provides it a fairly exuberant push: “Shot in the midst of the pandemic, a small funds movie with a vastly artistic design and a twisted story, Alex Phillips’ debut movie is probably the best earthworm-junkie horror movie within the earthworm’s story-junkie-horror cinema.” Solid Philip Andre Botello, Betsey Brown, Trevor Dawkinsand Eva Fellows.
