Every young man avenges in MCU so far
Unlike all the other characters on this list, Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld) has had a big MCU bow. This is a bit fitting given the fact that while many of her other Young Avengers took inspiration from well-established heroes, Kate did pick up Hawkeye’s cloak after his death – and also after his resurrection, which was a bit confusing but actually amazing. 2021’s “Hawkeye” introduced Kate Bishop, and like her comic counterpart, she’s full of pick and has lots of natural skills she can hone to become a superhero. The Disney + show took many cues from the Matt Fraction / David Aja comic, not only weaving Kate into Clinton’s story, but also making her a fully formed character in her own right.
Like many of these heroes, Kate debuted in “Young Avengers” # 1. It is later revealed that after being attacked in the park, Kate had decided to train as hard as she could to fight back. It took her a while to figure out which superhero name she should go by, but when Captain America calls you Hawkeye, it tends to stick. Kate, who was a wealthy Manhattanite (which came in handy when the team needed costumes and equipment) first encountered Young Avengers when they messed up a rescue during a hostage situation at her sister’s wedding. Naturally, Kate gave a hand, which would begin the teasing-driven relationship between her and Patriot, as well as lead to her eventually joining the team. We certainly have not seen the last of Kate in MCU.
