Disney+ teases X-Men on Disney+ Day – newsdubai

Disney+ has fans up in arms after using a Wolverine gif to hype Disney+ Day. On social media, the streaming service sent X-Men fans into a tailspin with their well-timed post. Many fans are expecting some kind of mutant announcement during D23. When Kevin Feige strolled onto the Comic-Con stage in San Diego, many viewers thought X but the disclosure was almost assured. That didn’t happen, but he left the door open for more announcements at Disney’s own event. Well, with only a week to go until Disney+ Day and the greater potential of D23, the fandom is getting mad again. Mrs. Marvel is the first confirmed mutant in the MCU, but many people want to see their favorites appear in a capacity that doesn’t get them massacred by the Scarlet Witch. They might get their chance, but nothing is imminent at this point.

Giancarlo Esposito spoke to Countdown City Geeks about a meeting he had with Marvel Studios that added fuel to this whole X-Men fire. Speculation went into overdrive when this news became public.

“So I haven’t worked for Marvel yet,” the actor began. “I’ve been in a room with them and talked to them, and to answer your question, I think what they’re doing is along the lines of the mythological journey that Joe Campbell was talking about, who happened to be a friend of George Lucas, what George Lucas put into his stories. They do the same.”

“So, there’s been talk of Magneto, there’s been talk of Dr. Freeze, there’s been talk of who else are they talking about over there? Oh, Doom! And there’s Professor X. Pick one? I’ll go for something , that’s a little bit different. I’m going to go put it out in the universe that it’s Professor X,” Esposito added.

Things are different in Phase 4 of the MCU and should be moving forward. Comicbook.com spoke with Kevin Feige at San Diego Comic-Con, and he offered to read about what they’ve learned from this post-endgame run of shows and movies.

“I think we learned something on every project we do, but when we were planning, and even three years ago here, designing Phase 4, we haven’t laid out all, but most of you know, we realized it’s very different from phase 1, 2 and 3,” he admitted. “That there are more projects in less years, and so it didn’t seem right to culminate, you know, not to culminate every 10 months in an Avengers movie. And each of the movies themselves have now become quite big in our crossover events in many ways. And after the creative experience we had with Infinity War and Endgame, it felt like it was about closing a saga, saving back-to-back Avengers movies for the completion of a saga, and that’s really what we wanted to put out today.”
