BLACK PANTHER: WAKANDA FOREVER – Possible leaked promo art reveals blurred first look at Namor The Submariner
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever hits theaters globally on November 11, and while many fans continue to wonder who will inherit the Black Panther cloak from T’Challa after the tragic death of Chadwick Boseman, there is great excitement for Namor the Submariner’s MCU debut.
His involvement in this sequel is almost confirmed, with Mexican actor Tenoch Huerta (Narcos: Mexico) is expected to fill the role. Rumors of an appearance from the character have been swirling since before Captain America: The First Avenger‘s release in 2011, but after a few hints here and there (e.g. Avengers: Endgame), it looks like Namor is finally popping up this year to target Wakanda.
We are disappointed not to see him collide with T’Challa, but a first look at Invader, Defender and X-Man has been revealed thanks to what appears to be some very blurry concept art.
Delicious @MyTimeToShineH has apparently confirmed its validity, and it seems that Marvel Studios is sticking to the comics. We do not know if Namor will have wings on his ankles, but we are betting that the King of Atlantis will have something that at least pays homage to them in some way. All indications are also that this interpretation of Namor is strongly inspired by the Mayan culture.
Hopefully the trailer is on its way. In the meantime, we keep our eyes open for any HD promo art!
