- Dembele has suffered a series of muscle injuries since joining the club in 2017
Barcelona reportedly will give Ousmane Dembele another season to prove its worth after a three-year nightmare with the club.
Dembele has been riddled with injuries since moving to the Nou Camp in the summer of 2017 for a reported compensation of £ 135 million from Borussia Dortmund.
At the time, the France Winger was rated as one of Europe’s most popular prospects, but a combination of injuries and indiscipline has limited his progress.
Barcelona will reportedly give Ousmane Dembele one more season to impress at the club

Dembele has suffered a wave of injuries since moving to the Nou Camp for £ 135 million in 2017

The winger is expected to be out until at least August, after recently suffering another setback
Numerous reports in recent months have revealed that Barca believes Dembele’s poor diet is the reason behind his injuries, which have limited him to just three full appearances this season.
But despite those concerns and claims that some of the backroom workers are out of patience with him, Diario Sport has reported that he’s getting one last chance to impress.
Barca boss Quique Setien is an admirer of the 22-year-old and believes his talent still outweighs the physical and lifestyle issues that have marred his stay in Spain.
Dembele sustained a muscle injury during the Champions League clash of Barcelona against Borussia Dortmund in November, which was expected to keep him out for two months.
However, a further setback in his return to first team training means that he is likely to be out until at least August.
Despite his problems, Dembele still has a respectable performance in the last third, with 19 goals and 17 assists in 74 games for the club.
That notation is in line with his form at Borussia Dortmund, where he found the back of the net 10 times in 50 games, while scoring 22 more.
