American bitten by shark within the Bahamas

An American man visiting the Bahamas was handled after being bitten by a pup (child shark) in Grand Bahama.  

Based on the police, the incident reportedly occurred round 1 pm on Sunday in waters close to Sandy Cay.  

Preliminary experiences reveal that the 29-year-old male sufferer was fishing together with six associates onboard a vessel when he caught the pup.

The person reportedly tried to take away a fishhook from the mouth of the pup, when he was bitten on his proper hand.  

The accidents are stated to be severe however not deadly.
