YENA game in a virtual ‘SMARTPHONE’ world in the comeback MV!
The 3rd of August HE released the music video for her first solo comeback, ‘SMARTPHONE’. The title track comes with the 2nd mini-album of the same name. Her hotness from the wildly successful January debut landed her debut EP at #2 on the charts Pie chart with 123,000 copies. With his single, ‘Smiley’ Reaching #8, the public responded positively to the pop rock track to refresh any listener.
New single ‘SMARTPHONE’ reproduces the audio image of that track. With its relentless drive, rock elements find their way through the track to give that classic teen pop rock feel. Perfect for summer, the singer’s woozy vocal tone combines with the instrumental to create an experience akin to an energetic rollercoaster ride.
Watching the music video, the singer starts playing on her computer. But when she enters the game world, she has to fight against all the enemies. The comic poppy theme in the MV means that these enemies are human-sized frogs and ducks. She gathers all her power and collects superior weapons to defeat them all in her own smiley way.
