“I believed within the England sequence we did job. A batter bought 100 each recreation and I believed that was excellent [but] we are able to’t suppose we’re simply going to get 100 as a result of it’s Bangladesh. We’ve bought to go on the market and work laborious. Clearly, they’ve bought some younger quick bowlers and a few good spinners so you might have some intervals which might be robust however we’ve bought to combat. The primary factor is we can not underestimate this workforce – that’s the primary factor I’ll be preaching.”

“The opposite guys got here in from Pakistan and the blokes are actually trying ahead to this sequence. I feel as a workforce we’re simply focussing on what we’ve bought to do, and no matter we do first we’ve bought to do it nicely. And I feel we’ve bought to start out [well]. The primary hour may be very essential beginning on that first day. We’ve bought to be within the combat and we are able to’t take them as a right. They’ll be coming laborious as a result of clearly we beat them in Bangladesh 2-0 so that they’ll be coming and trying to do nicely towards us so we’ve bought to combat.”
For the reason that finish of the England sequence, West Indies gamers have featured in three rounds of first-class cricket which Brathwaite mentioned had been important to protecting the facet match match.
