A small child was hospitalized after being brutally attacked by a coyote on the beach … and the whole thing was captured on camera.
The CRAZY incident took place on Thursday around noon. 21.45 at Huntington Beach in OC … when a mother took her two children with her to take a dip.
A surf camera rolled and captured the moment the coyote threw at the little girl.
Reasonable warning, it’s pretty disturbing … the coyote jumps up and attacks the little girl’s face and has her on the ground for at least 15 seconds before she’s able to climb, and adults eventually notice it.
The little girl was taken to a hospital by ambulance with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Two coyotes were killed by officials later that night and they are trying to determine if one of them was involved in the attack … while continuing their search.
As for the girl, she is said to be about 2 or 3 years old. She was tested for rabies and will continue to be treated at the hospital.
Fortunately, she is expected to recover completely.
