US federal brokers nab 48 Haitian migrants on uninhabited island off Puerto Rico

In a latest improvement, US federal authorities introduced on Wednesday that they’ve apprehended 48 Haitian migrants who had been left stranded on an uninhabited island located between Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic. 

Migrants stranded on Mona Island

The US Customs and Border Safety revealed that it was park rangers stationed on Mona Island who first alerted authorities to the presence of those stranded migrants. 

Among the many group had been 41 males and 7 ladies, all of whom had been left to fend for themselves on this rugged and remoted island.
