This follows experiences from Premier Dr. Natalio Wheatley that the federal government has made headway with the UK because it pertains to growing a medical marijuana trade for the territory.

Following his journey to the UK final week, Wheatley introduced he had “excellent discussions” on medicinal hashish; “notably with respect to the licensing of medical practitioners within the Virgin Islands to manage medicinal hashish to sufferers”.

“We have now discovered a manner ahead on this facet of medicinal hashish and we’re continuing to place the required regimes in place for approvals,” Wheatley stated at a latest press convention.
