The first details have emerged for Netflix’s TV series adaptation of Sony PlayStation’s acclaimed “Horizon” franchise following the revelation of the show’s existence during a earnings call last month.

As found by Giant Bombs Jeff Grubba page for the show has been viewed on the Directors Guild of Canada Ontario’s website and indicates that the series goes under the working title “Horizon 2074” and is likely to be filmed in Toronto due to tax incentives.

The list reveals some of the early crew members on the show, including art director Michele Brady (“The Expanse”, “Locke & Key”) and production designer Mark Steel (“The Umbrella Academy”, “Star Trek: Discovery”). The other postings involve lots of talent from shows like “The Boys” and “What We Do in the Shadows”.

Grubb has argued that the series would have two timelines: one near or parallel to “Horizon: Zero Dawn” and “Horizon: Forbidden West,” which unfold in the early 31st century, and one for a time long before them.

It would match the title, which is several years after the events seen in the holograms through the games that unfolded in the 2060s with the triggering of the Faro plague, the launch of Far Zenith and the development of Project Zero Dawn.

Unfortunately, the list does not include any potential production schedule or details regarding producers or cast.
