Dallas Stars vs Tampa Bay Lightning live stream
Western Conference No. 3 seed of the Dallas Stars will face Eastern Conference No. 2 seed of the Tampa Bay Lightning in the Stanley Cup Final, with the best-of-seven series running until at least September 25 (Game 4), and possibly until September 30 (Game 7). All the streaming and TV viewing options you need to know are listed below, but you can get a head start right now by savings of almost 50% on ExpressVPN so you can tune in anywhere.
No one expected the Stars to get even close to the Finals, but here they are, after removing the best seeds of the Western Conference, the Vegas Golden Knights, in just five games. It’s their first Stanley Cup final in over 20 years, and after upset after upset in the postseason, it’s hard to imagine anything other than yet another inspiring underdog effort from Rick Bowness’ men.
Bowness was on the losing side of a Stanley Cup final twice, most recently in 2015, when he was the assistant coach to Lightning and Jon Cooper. Coop and Bones share an excellent relationship, and that mid-term tag hanging over the Stars coach is sure to be crossed out soon enough.
It took the Lightning six games to take out the New York Islanders, and Cooper’s men are looking to eradicate the ghost of 2019 when they hit the first hurdle of the playoffs right after securing a record season with 62 wins. If they want to do everything, they must find a way to stop the Stars’ defenders, especially Miro Heiskanen, who score for fun in the postseason.
Steven Stamkos is still out of action for the Lightning, but it looks like he may return before the end of the series. And it wouldn’t be a moment too soon, because Brayden Point, who acted heroically in his absence, seems to need a rest. Fortunately for Tampa Bay, their defenders also chip at the front.
It’s all or nothing, so read on as we explain how to watch the Stars vs Lightning online and get a live stream of Stanley Cup Final NHL right now from all over the world.
