Want to improve your skin and feel more self-confident? These little known skin care tips can help with that.
Let’s start with cleansing. One of the best skincare tips is using a face brush to cleanse. Prep the skin with warm water on the brush. Nothing else. Just to really exfoliate, open up the skin a little bit for the next step, which is cleansing with the oil cleanser.
An oil cleanser should melt away makeup and also make your skin super soft and supple. Once I’ve cleansed enough, I’m just going to rinse with some warm water. I’m not gonna worry about wiping this off because we’re gonna go straight into the next step, which is a foaming cleanser.
Foaming cleanser is definitely one of my favorite things to do when it comes to getting beautiful clean skin. One of the best tips when it comes to cleansing is to actually warm the cleanser in the palm of the hand and then start applying and cleansing all over the face.
Using a face brush definitely is more effective than just using your fingers when cleansing your face. When you’re done, you just rinse it away with warm water and out goes the impurities, trapped makeup, excess oils and dead surface cells.
If you’re going to take any tips from this article is spending the majority of your time cleansing your skin. Think about it this way. If you spend about 15 to 20 minutes doing your makeup, you should definitely be doing at least half of that in your cleansing routine, especially when it comes to your skin care.
Always wash your makeup off before you go to bed. This is a non-negotiable.
The next tip is a great DIY exfoliant, especially if you have acne prone skin. This is super easy to make. It is just rice blended into a fine powder. Just make sure you have a few granules left so you have an exfoliation feeling and then add about a tablespoon or two of honey. Mix these two in a bowl and use this as your exfoliant.
Honey is an antiseptic and also helps with acne and breakouts. Not only that, it’s full of antioxidants, which is great for slowing down aging. It’s natural, it’s extremely moisturizing and soothing and helps create a beautiful glow.
Moving right along, one of the best tips for skin is using a yogurt mask. I have been dying to use the Korres Hydra Biome Greek Yogurt Mask because I’ve heard just so much about it.
It’s very luxurious, smooth and it almost has like this tingly feeling when you put it on. I highly recommend it if you have dry skin.
It instantly comforts, relieves and rebalances stressed skin. This mask contains a real Greek yogurt, three types of hyaluronic acid for supreme moisture. It also has shea butter, apricot oil, sweet almond oil and aloe vera to nourish and deeply hydrate.
I let this dry for a little bit, about 15 minutes, and then I will just wipe it clean using one of my favorite antibacterial towels. Sometimes I rinse, sometimes I wipe it, doesn’t really matter. I just like wiping it because it’s just less mess and easy to clean and my skin is feeling amazing.
Next tips is using sweet almond oil for a facial oil. It reduces fine lines and is packed with antioxidants. I helps alleviate redness, regenerates cell growth and it’s an all-natural serum and it smells amazing.
One of my favorite tips is doing facial massages. I like to do this to help relieve any puffiness in the skin, especially around the eyes.
