Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are perhaps some of the most famous celebrity twins, but their little sister Elizabeth is a star all alone. The actress “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” recently opened up about her bond with her older sisters in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar UK and noted that she always looked at them as a source of refuge. “I’ve always felt it was an advantage to have older twin sisters,” she told the publication. “I felt very aware of how I wanted to navigate a lot of things because I saw them. I also felt very protected.”

In a January 2021 interview on “The Jess Cagle Show,” Elizabeth also said she looked up to her older sisters, not only for career inspiration, but also for her sense of style. “Everything my sisters have ever carried in my entire life, I have wanted to carry,” she said. “Still, as an adult today, I want their coats, I want their shoes, I want their dresses. It’s something I never grew out of.”

Despite their two and a half year age difference, the Olsen sisters have always been close, no matter what efforts they pursued as individuals. Between Elizabeth’s acting projects and Mary-Kate and Ashley’s fashion brand, the sister trio has still taken the time to attend events on the red carpet together over the years, such as the CFDA Fashion Awards and the LACMA Art + Film Gala.
