Leaked tapes reveal CNN buries Hunter Biden story and says Cuban-Americans voted for Trump

Recordings of CNN’s daily editorial meeting released by Project Veritas suggest the network avoided reporting the controversy between Hunter Biden and Ukraine in the run-up to the 2020 presidential election.

In leaked conference calls from the news network’s editorial meetings at 9 a.m., senior staff tells CNN boss Jeff Zucker that the network should downplay the bomb story.

Zucker also tells his staff that he does not think “that we should repeat baseless slanderous talk just because the right-wing media suggests we should.”

The story, first revealed in the New York Post, revealed emails allegedly from Hunter Biden’s laptop and shed light on questionable foreign business dealings he had before and after his father served as vice president .

CNN’s political director David Chalian can be told to Zucker that the news network would not tell the story.

“Obviously, we’re not going with the New York Post’s story about Hunter Biden right now,” Chalian said.

Chalian, who is also the vice president of CNN, went on: “ Obviously, Hunter Biden’s attorney is being quoted in the New York Post piece and we will just keep reporting that these are exactly the things the president was impeached, this is the stuff the senate committees looked at and found nothing wrong with Joe Biden’s interactions with Ukrainians and now having an email that there might have been a meeting with someone from Burisma, it seems.

“Rudy Giuliani’s kind of ‘dream-o-vision’ of throwing stuff against the wall in these last days of the campaign.”

The Post’s story related how Biden met with a company president who paid his son up to $ 83,000 a month to sit on the board.

At the same time, energy company Burisma hoped to receive favors from the US government while Joe Biden was the vice president.

During that same conference call, CNN can be heard telling Executive Vice President and General Counsel David Vigilante Zucker that “we have to be very careful” regarding the coverage of the Hunter Biden story.

At one point, he wondered why some political reporters from other organizations had posted the story on their social media.

What the hell are Maggie Haberman and [Politico reporter] Jake Sherman retweeting that story? Vigilante asked, surprised.

The following week, the day after President Trump’s last presidential debate in which President Trump went after Biden over the revelations about his son, Zucker could be heard again pushing the story aside and referring to it as a ‘rabbit hole’ that ‘I don’t ‘no one out there [rightwing media] world understood last night. ‘

“The Trump media, you know, is immediately going from – okay, never mind – to the latest alleged scandal and expecting everyone to just follow suit,” Zucker said over the phone. “So I don’t think we should repeat baseless Pap smears just because the right-wing media suggests we should.”

In another appeal released by Project Veritas on Wednesday, the president of CNN is said to be trying out Trump over comments he made questioning the integrity of postal voting.

Trump continues to undermine election integrity with baseless claims of fraud, okay? And he keeps doing it, ”Zucker said. “And that leads to the question of whether or not Trump in himself is a threat to national security in light of what he is doing and in light of what he did during the debate.”

Also on Wednesday, in a third release of Project Veritas, CNN director Cynthia Hudson could be heard expressing her views on President Trump’s influence on Cuban voters in Miami ahead of the election.

She suspects that the Cuban population in Florida will likely vote for Trump because they are “attracted to bullies.”

The rapture was from September 9, when there were just under two months to go to the election.

Cynthia Hudson, SVP and CNN general manager, noted in a conference call in September that Cuban-Americans seemed attracted to President Trump and would vote Republican.

“Trump has used communist, socialist rhetoric as part of his hook for the Cubans in Miami, how that echoed and how the Biden team hasn’t done enough to counteract that,” says Hudson. The only reason they support Trump is because of that story. And that story and the fact that unfortunately, I must say, there is a population that is very attracted to bullies. ‘

Hudson, the senior vice president and managing director of CNN en Español, went on to say that “no one is opposed” to Trump’s effective messaging in Florida.

The Cubans are going to vote for Trump. And that’s terrifying, and so I think there’s a way to disprove the Florida story that isn’t being exploited. ‘

Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe has said he secretly recorded network chairman Jeff Zucker’s morning conference calls for “ months ”.

O’Keefe, 36, said on Tuesday that he would release audio recordings from several network meetings that he claims will “reveal” Zucker and other CNN executives expressing their “political biases.”

The calls that O’Keefe had been listening to for over two months are the network’s daily 9:00 am editorial meeting with senior staff from CNN’s main agencies, led by Zucker.

Project Veritas’ move is the latest stabbing operation orchestrated against the news station by the conservative agent who has long been targeted by CNN over claims of liberal and anti-Trump bias.

O’Keefe has accused the network of furthering their own political agendas in reporting the news.

CNN likes to call itself ‘the most trusted name in the news,’ but how can the public ever trust a network that routinely scolds people simply because those people have certain political views that are inconsistent with the mainstream media? ‘ he said.

O’Keefe said he plans to release “ raw recordings ” of more than 50 conference calls a day until Christmas.

We’re going to release the full raw tapes, maybe even twice a day and show what really goes on in these phone calls and show how they make the sausage, how they produce permission at the ‘most trusted name in the news,’ O’Keefe.
