A great winning goal from substitute Paulo Dybala sent Juventus back to the top of Serie A with a 2-0 win over rivals Inter Milan in an empty Allianz Stadium on Sunday.

Juve, who opened the score through Aaron Ramsey, led 63 points, one for Lazio and nine clear on Inter as third, although Antonio Conte’s match has a game in hand.

Midfielder Ramsey fired the first goal from close range shortly after the break and was also involved in the second.

Juventus’ Argentinian attacker Dybala swapped passes with the Wales International on the edge of the area before dribbling around defender Ashley Young and showing a great invention to find the bottom corner with the outside of his boot.

The game was played without fans present after the Italian government ordered that all games be held behind closed doors until 3 April.

No fans meant that there was no fervent welcome for Conte, who returned to Juventus for the first time as an opposition coach. Conte, who left in 2014, led Juventus to the first three of the eight straight league titles and also spent most of his career with the Bianconeri.

The voices of players and coaches were clearly heard and despite the lack of fans there was a lot of intensity and passion on the field.

Inter-goalkeeper Samir Handanovic made some crucial saves before Juventus broke the deadlock 10 minutes in the second half.

Ronaldo failed to control Blaise Matuidi’s backlash and it became an assist for Ramsey, who fired Juventus in front.
