A Jamaican man was arrested and charged after reportedly stealing a vacationer’s financial institution playing cards at a resort in Ocho Rios, St Ann, then fleecing the accounts of a substantial sum.
Charged with housebreaking and larceny is 32-year-old Demetri French of Outdated Hope Highway, Kingston 6.
His courtroom date is being organized.

In keeping with police studies, the vacationer and his associate left their cottage between 7:00 and 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 21. He later found that money and his financial institution playing cards had been lacking from his pockets.
He was additionally notified that two transactions totaling US$20,000 had been made out of his accounts.
A report was made to the police and, CCTV footage confirmed French committing the offence.
He was later arrested and charged.
