Guyana’s President Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali receives Order of Freedom of Barbados

In recognition of his unwavering dedication to fostering regional integration and strengthening social and financial partnerships, President Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali of Guyana has been conferred with the distinguished Order of Freedom of Barbados. 

This esteemed honor was bestowed upon him as a part of Barbados’ 57th Independence Day celebrations, through which 35 excellent people have been acknowledged for his or her distinctive contributions.

The Order of Freedom of Barbados, a distinguished honorary award, is reserved for people who’ve made important contributions to Barbados, the broader Caribbean area, the Caribbean Diaspora, or humanity.

The Authorities Info Service (GIS) of Barbados highlighted President Ali’s exceptional dedication to enhancing cooperation and collaboration, significantly within the realms of regional integration, social upliftment, and financial partnerships. 

His devoted efforts, particularly within the fields of Meals and Vitamin Safety, have performed a pivotal position in advancing the well-being of the folks of Barbados and the broader Caribbean area.

This distinguished honor was additionally bestowed upon Rwandan President Paul Kagame, who has been acknowledged for his influential and constructive position in fostering collaboration, selling constructive worldwide relations, and advancing financial diplomacy. 

This recognition is a testomony to the Pan African Community’s efforts to strengthen ties between Africa and the Caribbean, contributing to the mutual progress and prosperity of each areas.
