Florence Pugh says she’s dating Will Poulter
A day after paparazzi photos seemed to suggest Florence Pugh was dating her Midsummer co-star Will Poulter, the actress has explained that they are not.
“This is getting a little silly now. No, Will Poulter and I are not dating,” the Oscar nominee Little Women star posted Tuesday on Instagram. “We went to the beach with our friends, who are always about half a meter away from us in each picture, but who are smartly cut out / framed so it looks different.”
Pugh has been dating actor and director Zach Braff for a few years, but that did not stop reports of a new romance after they were caught hanging out – with others – on a beach in Ibiza.
“You can REALLY see my best friend in so many pictures and Archie’s arms in the pages,” Pugh said in her post along with some of the pictures where she pointed to other friends. “I understand that the nature of this job is that sometimes you get your privacy completely bullet-ridden by paparazzi, but making these things actually does more harm than good. Thank you for saying we look sexy. Doesn’t mean we make it sexy. “
Pugh said she actually spent hours cuddling with someone, but it was not Poulter. It was her “best mate,” Olive.
“The funny thing is, my nipple kept popping out, and I’m actually surprised they did not catch it,” she wrote.
The British actress added a more serious message: “There is no need to drag people through this. Whatever your opinion of who I should or should not be with, in the end, if you compliment someone by trolling another person .. you’re just bullying. There’s literally no reason to be horrible online – no reason. “
And she urged people to carefully consider their posts.
“Think about what you write,” she advised. “Think about who it affects.”
Poulter backed his “dear friend” up on his account.
“Thank you for shouting about bullying when you see it,” he wrote.
Since being with Braff, 47, the 26-year-old actress has handled some unwelcome comments about their age difference.
“I’ve always found it funny how I can be good enough for people to see my work and support my work and pay for tickets, and I’m old enough to be an adult and pay taxes, but I’m not old enough to know who I should and should not have sex with, “Pugh said during a July 2020 appearance on Sue Perkins: An hour or so with … podcast. “Again, once again, it makes a young woman feel like s *** for no reason.”
