A couple has been arrested after their son died of a drug overdose in their Pennsylvania home.
Tracy Humphreys and Thomas Snelsire, both 45 years old, joined the police on Thursday and are now charged with murder for the death of their one-year-old son Thomas.
Authorities were called to the couple’s Baldwin residence on September 13 after Thomas was discovered unconscious.
However, a criminal complaint claims that the baby had been “dead for some time because of the condition of his body.” He was reportedly found wrapped in a blanket on the porch of the property.

Police searched the property and discovered a plastic straw in the baby’s pack-n-play crib containing “an unknown white powder.”
Pills, cocaine and heroin were also discovered in the house.
A subsequent autopsy determined the toddler had fentanyl in his system and had died of an overdose.
Meanwhile, the police also conducted a drug test on an 11-year-old boy who lived at the address.
The boy is said to be Humphrey’s biological son, and the test revealed he had cocaine in his system.
Humphreys and Snelsire also face costs for endangering children and drug possession.

WPXI reports that a detective “ compromised two separate reports about the couple earlier this year. ”
However, a Child and Youth Care employee completed an inspection of their home last month and found no drug paraphernalia or evidence of narcotic use.
Humphreys and Snelsire remain behind bars.
