The Financial institution of Jamaica (BOJ) mentioned on Tuesday that it’s investigating reviews of doable faulty polymer banknotes.
The investigation was launched after a girl posted a video on TikTok on Monday, showcasing a thousand-dollar notice with lacking options on the holographic foil.
In a social media submit, the BOJ mentioned: “If anybody else has encountered the same difficulty, they’re inspired to go to the Financial institution, the place the banknote might be examined and changed if deemed real.”
