Amazon’s Fire HD 8 tablet is hard to beat at the usual $ 80 price point, but today that deal gets even better with a $ 30 price drop. You can hold a Fire HD 8 for $ 50. It has 16 GB of internal storage and you can insert up to a 400 GB microSD card to expand the available storage space. This model has a rear camera and a selfie camera, so you can keep in touch with friends and family right out of the box. For this price, you get the tablet with ‘special offers’ included, these are just Amazon’s own ads set on your tablet’s lock screen.
It’s natural to wonder what you get – and what you don’t – with such an affordable tablet. Of course, this machine doesn’t have a super high-resolution screen or a fast processor, but it might be just enough for you or whoever you buy it from. It can handle the basics when it comes to entertainment such as streaming videos from popular streaming services, playing games, and can serve as an e-reader for books and display magazines and comics in color. (At that point, Amazon Kindle Unlimited is free for two months from now.) The Amazon app store doesn’t have as robust a offering as Apple’s App Store or the Google Play Store, but can be used for a $ 50 tablet.

The deals below are aimed at the Audeze iSine 10 in-ear wired headphones and the Audeze Mobius gaming headset.

There are more deals that may appeal to you if you are looking for an upgrade in the headphones department. Microsoft’s Surface Headphones are still $ 150 off their usual $ 350 price. $ 200 is a much more reasonable price to pay, and you get a lot of features for the price. These noise canceling headphones allow two simultaneous Bluetooth connections and can seamlessly switch between devices when audio comes through.
The Sims 4 is $ 5 on Amazon for PC. Games that allow you to escape today’s headlines may be just what you need, so this is worth checking out if you are into the latest game in Sims series. When you purchase this game, you will receive a code to redeem it on Origin, EA’s digital store.
