WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken spoke on Saturday along with his counterpart in India about Russia’s conflict on Ukraine amongst different points, the State Division mentioned.

Blinken spoke with Indian Exterior Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar about “regional and world points, together with counterterrorism cooperation and Russia’s persevering with aggression towards Ukraine,” the division mentioned in a launch.

India has been a big purchaser of Russia’s oil, which helps to fund its conflict towards Ukraine.

Jaishankar will go to Russia on Nov. 8, the Russian embassy in India mentioned on Thursday.
