Bateman vs. Egerton in Netflix’s “Carry On” – newsdubai

“Ozark” star Jason Bateman is in talks to play the villain opposite Taron Egerton in Netflix and Amblin’s action thriller “Carry On.”

Egerton plays Ethan Kopek, a young TSA agent who is blackmailed by a mysterious traveler (Bateman) into letting a dangerous package slip through security and onto a Christmas Day flight.

The project comes from “The Shallows” and “Black Adam” director Jaume Collet-Serra. TJ Fixman and Michael Green have written the screenplay, while Dylan Clark will produce.

Bateman recently worked on the untitled Damon-Affleck project about the rise of Nike as a brand.
