Asian-American singer-songwriter Cindy Zhang releases this year’s very first collaborative single ‘Confession’ with the South Korean indie artist LambC on May 20, 2022! Following the release of her latest collaboration single ‘Hourglass’ with Korean-American artist Ashley Alisha last year, this new duet collaboration triggers a new spectacular sound compared to her other collaborative releases. Led by a soothing melody, the soft voices of both singers bring out an authenticity that conveys the bittersweet emotions in a relationship full of doubt and uncertainty. The song describes two lovers who acknowledge that they are in a toxic relationship and both are very careful about giving everything to each other.

Known for his abilities as both a talented producer and a singer-songwriter, LambC is known for its heartwarming and melodic R&B ballads. Filled with harmonies from both singers, this romantic duet delivers a nostalgic and melancholy vibe with acoustic guitar and rock organ showing off their raw emotionally charged voices in a heartfelt ballad.
Even, Cindy and LambC would like to dedicate this romantic song to all lovers around the world!
This song marks a special day that means love is in the air as the release date coincides with ‘Confession’ Day in Asia. May 20 (‘520’) has in recent years become a Chinese slang that phonetically sounds very close to ‘I Love You’ in Chinese, becoming a day for people to confess and express their love. Cindy reflects on how difficult it can be to confess her feelings, and sings: Why is it so hard to say the things I want to say I always feel insecure and afraid that you will walk away

‘Confession‘s an indie pop number in the bedroom about not being able to say everything you’re thinking to your partner, which makes you feel far apart even when you’re right next to each other.
The single will be released on all streaming platforms on Friday, May 20, 2022along with a lyrics video on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 on Cindy Zhang’s YouTube channel.
